Q: What is the whitening agent that you use?

A: The One Click Smile system uses a gel formulation that includes hydrogen peroxide in order to deliver the safest, fastest teeth whitening results.

 

Q: Is hydrogen peroxide safe?

A: One Click Smile uses hydrogen peroxide as the active whitening ingredient. Hydrogen peroxide is an ingredient found in many kinds of toothpaste and mouthwashes available in supermarkets. It is even used in very low concentrations to disinfect contact lenses. It can also be found in cosmetics and hair products.

 You can use hydrogen peroxide safely to whiten your teeth provided you follow the usage instructions included in your One Click Smile system and by discontinuing use if you experience an adverse reaction to the product.

Certain foods are more likely to stain and colour your teeth. Avoiding them for a short period after your treatment can increase the amount of time that it will last. Foods like tea, coffee, soft drinks, red wine, berries and curries all contain things that can stain your teeth. Simply avoid them for 48-72 hours after your treatment for the best results before resuming your usual diet. Of course, if you can’t avoid these things, then it is advisable to sip water after consuming them and brush your teeth as soon as is practicable afterwards.
